1)Cold Stratification (60 Days) ❄️
Place rose seeds in a plastic bag.
Store in the veggie crisper drawer of your fridge for about 60 days.
Mark your calendar to track the duration.
2)Prepare for Planting 🌱
Use a planting tray filled with high-quality seed-starting potting mix.
Plant the seeds about ½ inch deep in the soil.
Do this in late winter, around 6 weeks before the last expected frost.
3)Create a Mini Greenhouse 🌿
Lightly mist the soil with water using a spray bottle.
Slide the tray into a clear plastic bag and seal it with a twist tie.
Provide Warmth & Indirect Light ☀
Place the tray in a warm spot with indirect sunlight.
4)Check the soil periodically.
If it looks dry, mist lightly, then return it to the plastic bag.
